Welcome to Bath Lane Cottages, we are a family run business offering two purpose built cottage style holiday homes in the beautiful seaside town of Newcastle Co Down. Both properties are within a 5 minute walk from the Harbour and town centre, and located right beside the Mourne Mountains.
Our family fell in love with Newcastle many years ago and we have created some fantastic memories here exploring the Mourne Mountains & Newcastle beach with family and friends. We designed these properties with the vision of allowing other to experience this beautiful location with their family and friends.
The Cook House
The Cook House provides a fully equipped cooking area & dining area to bring together friends & family together during meal times, with the option to upgrade to the dine at home experience with ingredients delivered to make yourself a five star meal. The Kitchen is the heart of this home.
The Bath House
The Bath House hosts a fully functional outdoor cast-iron bathtub, perfect for soaking away the day while enjoying the views of the breath-taking Mourne Mountains. Why not add on a bottle of prosecco & the Sauna package to make this a truly indulgent weekend retreat.

We have 2 cottages available that offer 2 rooms & can sleep 4-6 people each - The Bath house & The Cook house.

Newcastle offers a wide selection of eateries for all tastes. If you prefer to dine at home. We can supply fresh ingredients to cook your own.
Courtyard
2b Bath lane is known as the Bath House. This leads into large courtyard which has space for one vehicle.
The small courtyard at the entrance of 2 Bath Lane.
We ask guests to be respectful of noise and neighbours as these are built in a quiet residential area.
Infrared Sauna, Shower & Outdoor Bath
While staying at the Bath House you may upgrade your stay and use our infrared sauna, outdoor shower and unique outdoor bath.
Free Wifi
While staying at Bath Lane Cottages you can avail of our free wifi.
Newcastle the council provide free wifi covering the following areas, The Promenade, Main street, Railway Street and Downs Road
Housekeeping
We offer fresh linen at the start of your stay. If you are staying longer we can offer additional towels and fresh bedding.
Entertainment
For your in house entertainment we have installed projectors you can contact directly from your phone to stream netflix, prime or apple.

Nearynogs Chocolate tours
NearyNógs Stoneground Chocolate, Northern Ireland's first bean to bar, craft chocolate makers.
We ethically source single origin, speciality Cacao Beans from farms in Central America, South America, the Caribbean islands & West Africa.
We then hand sort every cacao bean, gently roast, stone grind, age and then temper into beautiful chocolate bars.
We aim to showcase the amazing origin flavours and tasting notes in every cacao bean origin. We do this without additives, emulsifiers or artificial flavouring.
We aim to use packaging that is made from recycled sources and is either recyclable and/or compostable after use. This is not always possible but will become easier as we grow as our business can buy better packaging the more chocolate we sell. Our postal boxes and paper tape are also made from recycled materials!
Nestled between the Mourne Mountains and the Irish sea along the scenic Mourne Coast, you can find us making chocolate in our small batch factory. We built this as a family with friends and neighbours and always with you in mind. It's a place for chocolate making, people gathering and story telling.

Crawford's Rock Ltd, we are proud to produce top quality harvested seaweed, sustainably sourced from the Northern Irish coastline. Our seaweed is packed with essential vitamins and minerals, and is a delicious and nutritious addition to any meal.
But that's not all - we also offer unique seaweed foraging tours, where you can join us as we harvest seaweeds and cook on the beach with locally caught fish. Come and explore the fascinating world of seaweed and explore our stunning coastline with us
At Wild and Free Savor the Sea, we understand the importance of connecting with nature, and what better way to do that than by joining us for a day out at the beach?
